As Los Angeles welcomes athletes and visitors from around the world, Christian Science Churches and Societies throughout Southern California are joining together in prayerful and practical ways.

Watch for our pop-up Reading Rooms as you’re walking towards games at the stadium on Thursday, July 2. Our focus is on Peace for Our World and promoting universal love and inclusiveness. And we’ll be in some of the community spaces in Fan Zones as well. We’ll keep you posted on dates and locations.

We are getting lots of thank-yous and smiles as we share clear stadium tote bags containing our SoCal Churches’ “Peace for Our World” bookmarks and a tri-fold brochure highlighting how various faith traditions express the Golden Rule. While the wording may differ, the message remains the same: treating others with empathy, kindness, and respect, which will bring lasting peace.
